YOUTH EXCHANGE
Youth Exchange is an international project that Waterdown club
members get very excited about. Last year, in coordination with
the Rotary Club of Flamborough A.M., the club hosted a student
from France who attended Waterdown District High School during
her exchange, and sponsored a local teen's exchange to Japan.
This year, the clubs welcomed Yuri Honda from Japan to
Waterdown and sent Waterdown student Lisa Young to Belguim.
In the 2006/2007 Rotary year, the club is sponsoring Jenna Rak's
exchange to Thailand and will welcome a inbound student from
Brazil to the community.
