ROTARACT CLUB
The Rotary Club of Waterdown was one of 12 local clubs which
chartered the Hamilton-McMaster Rotaract club on March 15,
2000. The club meets on the first and third Wednesday of the
month at 7 p.m. at McMaster University, 1280 Main Street West,

Rotaract was created in 1968 after the success of the Interact
clubs for high-school students was started in the early 1960s.
Clubs promote responsible citizenship and leadership of young
men and women aged 18 to 30.
Each Rotaract club is required to complete at least two major
service projects each year - one to serve the community and
another to promote international understanding. For full details
