A primary goal of the Waterdown club is to continually expand its
membership with committed community members who have the
interest and ability to get involved in service and humanitarian
projects. If you are interested in attending an upcoming meeting,
please contact the 2007/2008 Membership Director, Wendy Hickey
at E-mail.
MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA
Like all Rotary Clubs, membership in the Rotary Club of Waterdown
is by invitation only. Criteria for prospective members includes:
* holding or being retired from a professional, proprietary, executive
or managerial position
* having the ability to meet the club's weekly attendance and
community project participation requirements
* living or working within the locality of the club or surrounding area
BECOMING INVOLVED
Potential members are invited to attend a few club meetings in
order to learn more about the Rotary Club of Waterdown. If
interested in joining, the potential member may then submit his or
her name to be considered by the club's membership committee and
board for approval.
An individual who is interested in membership but doesn't know any
Rotarians is encouraged to contact the club directly.
